Electricity from the desert – From vision to reality
The topic of renewable and alternative sources of energy is currently hotly debated by both the media and energy companies. The second event in the series “Role Models from Business, Politics and Society”, by and with Kerstin Tschuck and held at the premises of Munich Press Club, inspired passionate debate on the topic of electricity in the desert. Our thanks go to Karim Asali, Director Reference Projects at Desertec Industrial Initiative GmbH (Dii GmbH), who answered questions from Ms Tschuck and the guests and provided interesting insights into this extremely complex topic and its prospects for the future (www.dii-eumena.com/de/). Our thanks naturally also go to the Press Club for its kind support and to Ali Sepher Dad, whose caviar tasting was the ideal complement to the fine wines presented by winzerwein.
A “scintillating setting” for HONourables business.
On this occasion we are delighted to present Kerstin Tschuck, expert in public speaking and panel discussion and network event presenter, as a new member and partner of The HONourables Business and Lifestyle Network. Ms Tschuck’s activities place her at the interface of politics, business and social issues.
Yesterday an audience of around 60 hand-picked guests attended the regular event initiated by Kerstin Tschuck at Munich Press Club, “Role Models from Business, Politics and Society”. In future a minimum of three such events per year will be held jointly with The HONourables as a regular highlight of their business and networking activities. After a successful launch featuring Dr. Gabriele Weishäupl, director of the Munich Oktoberfest and head of the City of Munich Tourist Office, the event yesterday presented the project “brotZeit e.V.”, founded in 2009 by actress Uschi Glas and her husband Dieter Hermann, as a further milestone in the series.
The next dates in 2013 are planned for July and October.
